The lake has three strong springs in its deepest part. Visibility reaches metres depending on weather. The water is not as cold as it might seem — the sun heats the basalt rocks which transfer warmth to the water.

Underwater Life
The lake is home to a rich variety of fish. While swimming you may spot pike, carp, perch, roach or grass carp.
